Recorre la vida de Doroteo Arango, Francisco Villa, desde su inicio en el bandidaje siendo muy joven, hasta su muerte en una emboscada, y retrata al Villa oscuro, desde que era un vándalo, su personalidad controversial que lo llevó a ser el general Pancho Villa, el Centauro del Norte y sus Dorados, el antihéroe que se redime, en parte ficción que el mismo abonó y su papel en la historia de la Revolución. Villa generó odio y amor, desprecio y respeto.
